Rehome Your Furniture

We’re always happy to consider well-made, characterful furniture that deserves a second life.

If you have a piece you no longer need, we may be able to take it in, restore it, and give it a new home. This helps keep quality furniture out of landfill and allows us to continue doing what we love — breathing new life into overlooked pieces.

If you think your furniture might be suitable, please get in touch with a few photos and a brief description. We’ll let you know if it’s something we can take on.

• Solid wood furniture

• Traditional or vintage pieces

• Items with character, even if they need work

• Furniture that is structurally sound or restorable

We may not be able to accept everything, but we’ll always be honest and considerate.

Rehoming Terms & Conditions

Assessment: All furniture is accepted at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline items that are unsuitable due to condition, materials, or practicality.
 

Ownership: Once a piece has been accepted and collected or dropped off, ownership transfers fully to Black Mouse Furniture. Items cannot be returned once accepted.
 

Condition: Furniture is accepted as seen. We cannot be held responsible for existing damage, wear, or defects once the piece is in our care.
 

No Payment Guarantee: Rehomed furniture is accepted as a donation unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to collection. We do not guarantee payment, resale, or restoration of every item.
 

Alterations: Accepted furniture may be restored, altered, refinished, or repurposed at our discretion, while respecting the original character where possible.
 

Collection & Delivery: If collection is required, this must be agreed in advance. Collection costs, if applicable, will be confirmed before proceeding.
 

Declined Items: If we are unable to accept a piece, we unfortunately cannot store or dispose of it on your behalf.
